In brief, we approach group benefits brokers in this phase of our operations who manage hundreds or thousands of employers each with hundreds of thousands, even millions of lives per broker/advisor depending on the states or provinces where they operate. We present a coverage plan that does for $30 – $40 (to use an example) a better job of covering dental patients than a $100 plan would, lowering costs for coverage while increasing benefits by targeting the waste present in the claims-based coverage model which is too top-heavy to be applied to dentistry. So millions of patients switch, each dental provider has first right of refusal to an area, and the result is that you receive thousands of patients if you want them at a cost per patient that is probably 20 to 40 times less than your current alternatives.

  • You should watch the main video to understand this clearly.

As a general dentist, you are paid monthly advances from every patient who chooses you.  You set your own fee schedule and discount your services based on plan designs accepted by the patient group.  Typical discounts would be 100% for hygiene, 80% for minor work and 50% for major work up to a soft cap of $5,000 – $10,000+ dollars depending on the plan.  You keep all the patient co-payments.  Above the soft-cap, 50% of everything is covered.

The reason the discounts make sense is that you are paid more money in advances at the beginning of the month than you enter in as discounts for all the procedures you do during the month and a very simple computer application keeps track of both so you are not overworked.  You can refer to other ProCare dentists without losing your monthly fixed payments, refer to next month in your own office for non-emergency patients or refer to specialists, all without penalty to manage work volume and ensure patients NEVER suffer even if you are very busy.

You should see advances which eliminate your overhead and create a profit before you even open your doors, meaning all the non-ProCare patients you see deliver nearly 100% profit instead of the 30%-50% you experience today. The co-payments from patients who use our design are close to pure profit also.

As a specialist, you are paid month to month advances and keep all co-payments from patients too. The advances exceed your expected workload and discount level, the reason we go “month to month” is to prevent our predictions with you from being wrong, in which case we would need to correct your next month’s advances to keep you happy and productive.

There is reinsurance to ensure employers never pay more than a set amount per month on their end, and to cover you from excessive workload on yours.

You can accept or reject participation in any plan you don’t want without penalty, and you control all aspects of your participation in the plan as a result.

  • What does it cost?  Either you pay upfront for 2 years, with each year beginning from the date you first are chosen by actual patients, or you accept a sponsorship of your entry fee and join at no upfront cost.  Sponsored dentists are paid less in our plan design than those who pay upfront, and once you are a sponsored dentist, you can never switch to the higher payout from higher upfront fees again.

Why do I pay?  Seriously, this has been asked.  Do you perform dentistry for free?  We hope not, and we don’t create millions of dollars in value for you without expecting compensation ourselves.  Our fees per patient are about 20 to 40 times less than any other method you have to acquire patients, so we think they are pretty reasonable.

How do I pay?  Pay by credit card on our e-commerce site or by wire transfer.  Contact your ProCare representative for the latter solution.  For the record, we use a secure e-commerce payment system and none of our thousands of members has reported a security problem.
